Caveat is a collective research project initiated by Jubilee, reflecting and acting on the ecology of artistic practice. Emptor continues along the methodology and efforts of Caveat. It actively applies the practice-based approach to 'property', a concept that highly defines the economy of visual arts.

Sara Martinetti

Biography

Sara Martinetti is a researcher in the history, anthropology, and theory of art. Her thesis (2020, EHESS), was entitled "‘I never write, I just do’: Written Practices and Theoretical Issues in the Work of Seth Siegelaub in Conceptual Art, Activism, and Erudition.” She has curated several related exhibitions, catalogues, and anthologies.
Since 2014, she has been working with Michel Claura, a lawyer who was active as an art critic and exhibition organizer between 1967 and 1982.

In parallel with this research, Martinetti has been busy expanding her theoretical and practical expertise in textiles.
